MBI Breach UpdateUpdate Button

Place this MBI breach update as HIGH priority for your check in process or data gathering for new as well as established patients. CMS announced, “Patient’s Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) May Change” due to a recent breach. CMS estimates the MOVEit  breach impacted approximately 612,000 current Medicare beneficiaries. They are mailing out approximately 47,000 new Medicare cards. What to do if the patient’s MBI changes information available here.
