Yvette was born and raised in Ohio and began her career in healthcare right after high school. She quickly rose through the ranks to the position of Office Manager. In this position, she developed extensive skills in medical coding and billing and successfully managed the practice’s outstanding Accounts Receivables.
In 2006, she focused her career on chiropractic office management where she was again very successful in managing outstanding Accounts Receivable. Yvette also, worked for a 3rd party billing company where she managed billing for a number of physical therapy and chiropractic offices across the United States. Her clients in those offices realized sizeable increases in reimbursements while she was at the helm.
Through the work she did in the Chiropractic and Occupational Health community, Yvette was introduced to KMC University. She became an enthusiastic advocate for KMCU and the work done there. She joined the staff in 2016 and is now the Member Services Manager, a trainer and conference speaker with KMC University. She is a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) who enjoys helping Chiropractors and their employees navigate the reimbursement and risk related challenges that face practices today.
Yvette lives with her husband Stephen and their two dogs. She has 3 children who are all married and one granddaughter.

The KMC Library is stuffed full of everything one would ever need to become educated in the world of HIPAA while still being user friendly by providing informational sheets, videos etc. Each section in the Library provides a flow chart as to how it should be followed and implemented.
